the SE reflexion filter,a large diaphragm condenser microphone picks up a lot of extraneous stuff,
so SE electronics built a filter wall behind the mic to kill the reflecting sound ,
preventing it from coming back into the rear of the mic.
it totally changed the room sound everywhere i tried it.
